German - DAK - Rifle Squad
The DAK Rifle Squad formed the backbone of the German Afrika Korps’ infantry forces during the North African Campaign of 1941–43. Typically armed with Karabiner 98k rifles and centred around the squad’s powerful MG34 light machine gun, these troops combined disciplined rifle fire with the considerable firepower of their machine-gun team. NCOs could also carry weapons such as the MP40 submachine gun, particularly for close-range fighting. Operating across the harsh and exposed desert battlefield, DAK infantry fought both offensively and defensively alongside German armoured and motorised formations, taking part in engagements from Tobruk and Gazala to El Alamein and Tunisia.
This is a multi part model kit. We strongly recommend superglue to assemble.
