German - DAK - Panzerbüchse 39 Moving

The DAK Panzerbüchse 39 Team provided German infantry in North Africa with a lightweight, portable anti-tank weapon during the early stages of the desert campaign. The 7.92mm Panzerbüchse 39 (PzB 39) was a single-shot anti-tank rifle designed to penetrate the relatively thin armour of early-war tanks and armoured cars. Operated by a small crew, it could be carried and concealed far more easily than a conventional anti-tank gun, making it useful for supporting reconnaissance and infantry units across the open desert. The weapon saw its greatest use during 1941–42, but rapidly became ineffective as Allied armour grew thicker, leading to its replacement by more powerful anti-tank weapons as the war progressed.
