The Panzer 38(t) was a Czech-designed light tank adopted by Germany after the annexation of Czechoslovakia in 1939. Known for its reliability and mobility, it was armed with a 37mm gun and saw extensive use during the invasions of Poland, France, and early Operation Barbarossa. Though outclassed by 1942, its chassis remained valuable and was later used for vehicles like the Marder III and Hetzer.
