It was armed with a 37mm M1 autocannon and two .50 caliber M2 Browning machine guns, providing effective air defense and ground support. Used in North Africa, Europe, and the Pacific, it was valued for its firepower and versatility, though its open-top design left the crew vulnerable to attacks.
