German - DAK - 8.1cm Granatwerfer 34 Team
The DAK 8.1cm Granatwerfer 34 Team provided Afrika Korps infantry with powerful and highly effective medium mortar support throughout the North African Campaign of 1941–43. The 8 cm Granatwerfer 34 (GrW 34) was a reliable and accurate weapon capable of delivering high-explosive and smoke bombs onto enemy infantry, defensive positions and targets concealed from direct fire. Operated by a dedicated crew carrying the mortar, ammunition and supporting equipment, it offered considerably greater range and hitting power than the smaller 5cm mortar. Its combination of portability, range and firepower made the GrW 34 one of the most important German infantry support weapons of the Second World War.
This is a multi part model kit. We strongly recommend superglue to assemble.
