The Bergepanzer IV was a German armored recovery vehicle based on the Panzer IV chassis, developed during World War II to recover and repair damaged tanks under combat conditions. It was equipped with a winch, crane, and towing apparatus, making it capable of handling medium and heavy tanks. With its fully armored superstructure, the crew was protected while performing battlefield recovery operations.
