In the Pacific Theater during World War II, U.S. Army infantry squads were the backbone of the Allied ground forces, playing a crucial role in the island-hopping campaign against Japanese forces.  An infantry squad was led by a sergeant and included a mix of riflemen, an automatic rifleman equipped with the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR), and a squad leader armed with a submachine gun or carbine. These squads were highly versatile and trained for various types of combat, from amphibious assaults to jungle warfare. In the dense jungles and rugged terrain of the Pacific islands, the infantry squads had to adapt to close-quarters combat, often facing fierce resistance from well-entrenched Japanese defenders. They relied heavily on teamwork, with riflemen providing cover while the BAR gunner laid down suppressive fire. Infantry squads were also responsible for clearing bunkers, caves, and other fortified positions, often with grenades, flamethrowers, and close-in fighting. Their ability to maneuver under fire and their resilience in harsh conditions were key factors in the U.S. Army's success in overcoming the challenging environments of the Pacific Theater, from Guadalcanal to Okinawa.

This is a multi part model complete. We strongly recomend superglue to assemble.
