The Flammpanzer III Ausf. M was a German flamethrower tank developed during World War II, based on the Panzer III Ausf. M chassis. It was equipped with a 14mm Flammenwerfer (flamethrower) in place of the main gun, capable of projecting flames up to 60 meters, making it effective for clearing bunkers, trenches, and fortified positions. With up to 50mm of armor, it offered moderate protection while supporting infantry in close-quarters combat. The Flammpanzer III saw action on both the Eastern Front and in Italy, where its devastating flamethrower was used to dislodge enemy defenders from fortified positions.
