The Soviet M9A1 Half-Track was a lend-lease armored personnel carrier supplied by the United States during World War II. It featured light armor, a .50 cal M2 Browning machine gun, and seating for troops, making it ideal for transporting infantry and supporting mobile operations. Used extensively on the Eastern Front, it provided increased mobility, though it was vulnerable to enemy fire due to its open-top design.
