The M3A1 Scout Car was a U.S. armored reconnaissance vehicle used during World War II for scouting, command, and personnel transport. It featured light armor, an open-top design, and multiple machine guns, including a .50 cal M2 Browning. Widely used by U.S., Soviet (via Lend-Lease), and Allied forces, it was fast and mobile but vulnerable to enemy fire due to its lack of overhead protection.
