The Panzer IV Ausf. H, introduced in 1943, was a late-war variant of Germany's most widely produced tank, featuring enhanced armor with 80mm of frontal protection and Schürzen (armored skirts) for defense against anti-tank rifles. Armed with the powerful 7.5cm KwK 40 L/48 gun, it was effective against most Allied tanks. Despite being slower due to increased weight, it remained a formidable opponent on both the Eastern and Western Fronts, participating in major battles like Kursk and the Normandy campaign.
