The BT-7 early turret variant was a Soviet fast tank developed in the 1930s, featuring a cylindrical turret similar to the earlier BT-5. Armed with a 45mm 20-K gun and a 7.62mm DT machine gun, it had light armor but high speed, thanks to its ** Christie suspension**. Used extensively in the Soviet-Finnish War and early World War II, it was effective in mobility-based tactics but vulnerable to enemy anti-tank weapons.
