The T-38 was a Soviet amphibious light tank developed in the 1930s for reconnaissance and river crossings. An improved version of the T-37, it featured better buoyancy and mobility but was still lightly armored and armed with a 7.62mm DT machine gun. Used in the Winter War and early World War II, it struggled against modern opposition but remained useful for scouting and communications.
