The SU-152 was a Soviet self-propelled heavy assault gun, developed in 1943 on the KV-1S chassis. Armed with a 152mm ML-20 howitzer, it was highly effective against fortifications, bunkers, and German heavy tanks like the Tiger I and Panther, earning the nickname "Beast Slayer". Used on the Eastern Front, it provided powerful fire support, later evolving into the ISU-152.
